HAIR:
FOR ALL CLASSES: NO HAIR MAY BE COVERING THE NECK OR IN THE FACE. All ballerinas must have their hair pulled into a bun. If hair is not long enough for a bun, hair must be in a ponytail, or pulled back and away from the face. Bangs and loose strands must be kept off the face with hair clips or bobby pins.
HINT:
Put the hair into a ponytail, braid the pony tail and secure with elastic at the end of the braid, twist the braid and wrap it around the base of the ponytail forming it into a bun. Bun covers (which we sell at the studio) helps keep everything neat and tidy.
TIGHTS:
Torn or stained tights must be replaced before the next class.
JEWELRY:
NO JEWELRY other than stud earrings may to be worn to class.
DANCERS ARRIVING TO CLASS UNPREPARED WILL BE ASKED TO SIT OUT AND OBSERVE THE CLASS.
DANCE SHOES:
ARE NOT TO BE WORN OUTSIDE OF THE DANCE ACADEMY –NOT EVEN“JUST FROM THE CAR” INTO THE STUDIO. Those few steps pick up chemicals in the asphalt; oil and auto fluids leaked onto the street, and dirt and debris from the sidewalks which is then tracked onto the studio floor.
ALL Dance Shoes must be purchased through the studio.
