Students must respect instructors and not be disruptive in class. Parents wishing to arrange a meeting with an instructor should call the office and make an appointment. 

Please help maintain a clean school, food and drinks are not permitted inside the building, with the exception of water.

As a convenience to our parents, we either carry or can easily order all dance supplies needed for our classes.Dance shoes must be purchased through the studio; all other dancewear may be purchased anywhere
as long as it is in keeping with the studio dress code.

Please, mark all of your belongings with your child’s name. It is especially important to label the insides of your child's shoes with their name or initials; that way shoes left at the studio or mixed with another dancer's shoes, can be easily returned to you. 

Dance bags are recommended as they keep belongings together and portable. A cover-up must be worn to and from class as this shows proper dance training. Dance shoes are only to be worn indoors to keep them clean and in good shape and must never be worn on the street.

All items found in the studio at the end of every day are placed in the lost and found bin in the waiting room; if your child is missing an item please check there. We are not responsible for items left at the studio.  
 
Students are to wait inside the studio for their rides.  Please instruct your children not to wait alone outside for you.

Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to class. It can be harmful to a dancer's body if they are not warmed up properly. If a student is chronically late, they will be asked to sit out of the class and the parent will be contacted.

Tardiness and excessive absences are inexcusable and will not be tolerated. 

No cell phones may be used in the studio or in the reception area. Students are to turn their cell phone ringers off during all class times.
Adults waiting in the reception area are asked to kindly go outside to talk on cell phones.

Parents and siblings waiting in the reception area should do their best to
remain quiet; if this is not possible, please wait outside or come back to pick up your child when class is through.

Unattended siblings are never allowed at the studio. Please do not drop them off if they are not dancing. There will not always be someone in the front office and we cannot be responsible for non-dancing children. 

We accept no responsibility for your child once their class is let out. It is important that you deliver and pick up students on time, this is especially important for children aged 6 and under.


ATTENDANCE

Regular attendance is essential for progression in dancing.

If your child is to be absent please call the studio to let us know; the studio phone number is 239-261-2606 please save it to your cell phone to keep it handy. 

We ask that illness be the only reason for missed class. Good attendance is imperative, as absences and tardiness can hold back an entire class.

All students are responsible for learning the choreography which requires regular attendance.

To be fair to all students, class time will not be used to review material missed.

If a dancer misses more than 5 classes after January they will not be permitted to participate in the year-end dance recital.

Make up classes are generally not available, so please make class attendance a priority.
