A.M.D.A.  2022 -2023 - PARENT AGREEMENT

REGARDING DANCE TUITION: 

1. Tuition payments are due the 1st of the month and considered late after the 7th day of the month.  All accounts must have a credit card on file which will automatically be charged along with a $10 late fee if payment is not received by the 8th day of the month.

2. If you are unable to make your payment during business hours, you can call in a credit/debit card payment by telephone (239-261-2606). You can also pay through PayPal (see the link on our website’s ‘tuition information’ page.)

3. There are no refunds, extensions, pro-rates or transfers of any tuition or registration payments. 
In most cases however a studio credit may be offered for future use.
 
REGARDING STUDIO POLICY: 
 
1. Dancers who arrive late and miss the warmup or come to class not properly groomed (hair/ dancewear/shoes) in accordance with the studio’s dress code requirements may be asked to sit out and observe class. Torn tights are not permitted. Dress code requirements can be found on our website’s calendar just below the class description.
 
2. It is important to make every effort to attend every class because absent students hold up the progress of the entire class. Illness or family emergency will be the only excused absences.
 
3. Ave Maria Dance Academy is not responsible for lost or stolen items. Please label all belongings with your child’s name so that lost items can be returned.  Please also check the lost and found in the waiting room periodically.
 
4.  Dancers who repeatedly forget their dance shoes may be asked to sit and observe their class instead of participating in class.
 
5.  It is part of your commitment to stay informed by reading the emails we send. If you are not receiving emails please check your Spam folder and if they are there please choose ‘un-spam’ so that the messages get through. If they are not in your spam folder please let us know at the front desk so we can fix the issue.
 
REGARDING THE ANNUAL DANCE RECITAL:

1. Participation in the end of season recital is not mandatory; however it is strongly encouraged and is considered an important part of the overall dance experience. 
 
2. Students will learn a recital routine and need 1 costume for each class they are enrolled in. Combo class students will dance twice onstage for ballet & tap but will need only 1 costume.
 
3. All accounts will be automatically processed on 1/3/23 using the credit card we have on file for the recital fee ($35/dancer) and the costume fee ($65/class) If you wish to pay these fees another way please let us know by 12/17/22.

4. If you enroll your child after the first week in January the recital fee ($100) is due at time of registration.  Your child’s costume may incur an additional fee (for shipping) if the costumes for that class have already been ordered.  Once ordered, the costumes are not returnable and the fees are non-refundable. 

5. When a dancer has committed to participating in the annual dance recital they are required to be present at the mandatory dress rehearsal in order to perform in the dance recital. 

6. In order to take advantage of our ‘Refer a Friend’ incentive for a FREE dance recital costume – your referral’s name must be on your registration form, or your name must be on their registration form.
 
7. If dancer’s have more than 5 unexcused absences after January 1st (sickness and family emergency are the only accepted reasons) they will not be able to participate in the recital.

8.  Photo Release: I grant permission to the studio to take photographs of my child to use in brochures, the studio website, advertisements, the end of the year slideshow and any other promotional materials the studio creates.
